The Philippine airline companies have had cancelled flights since August 19, 2013 to date due to typhoon ‘Maring‘.
Aside from the danger after take off, areas going and surrounding the airport terminals are highly flooded and almost not passable by autos. I personally don’t have any ideas when will the weather be calm and the operations of the airline companies will normally operate. However, the companies have already announced that they will not charge the passengers for the rescheduling of their respective flights.
In accordance to the upcoming 115th anniversary celebration of the Philippine Independence this coming June 12, 2013, the Philippine Airlines offers 115 PhP seat sale and promo on base fares on all domestic flights.
The selling period of this seat sale and promo is between June 7 to 12, 2013while the travel periods will be between 01 November 2013 to 15 January 2014.
So guys, if you have plans of traveling on these dates, book, buy and never hesitate to grab a seat now.
In a very random talk, I have decided to go home. I just realized it’s almost six (6) months that I haven’t gone home. But since all things are unexpected, I need to look for the cheapest fare offered by the different airlines available in the country.

Maybe tomorrow, I can already decide which airline I might prefer to fly with. I am crossing fingers to book the cheapest from them.
I know this is a long overdue post. But since it is better late than not posting at all, I should have to share the summary of my ‘air’ travels in 2012.
I had a total of twelve (12) different flights, fro and to different places in the country.
- January 1, 2012 — first fly in 2012 from Davao City to Cebu City
- March 31, 2012 — Cebu City to Davao City with Deborah’s first fly with AirPhil Express

Wow! Awesome! I didn’t realize until today that I have flew as many times as I could the past year. I hope to fly again this year as often as I could.
I am used to travel going home utilizing the local airline companies in the country such as AirPhil Express, Cebu Pacific Air and Philippine Airlines. Hence, this coming Sunday, December 16, 2012 will be my first time to travel with TigerAirways.com — TigerAirways Philippines.
No one from the family has tried the services of TigerAirways.com yet so I don’t have anybody to ask at about any idea how they provide and take care of their customers. I’ve been asking some friends also who used to travel but none of those I talked to has tried this airline company as well.
Tiger Airways is one of Asia’s leading low cost carriers. First established in 2003 with Tiger Singapore, it rapidly grew its paw print with Tiger Airways Australia in 2007, and associate airlines, Mandala Airlines in Indonesia and SEAir in the Philippines in 2012.
Operating from Singapore and Australia (Melbourne and Sydney), Tiger’s network extends to over 30 destinations in 13 countries in the Asia Pacific region.
Tiger is committed to offering customers great value fares and friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security and reliability.
The airline has won several awards, including the Low Cost Airline of the Year Award at CAPA’s Aviation Awards for Excellence in 2010.
I am just hoping that for this coming travel of mine, I would have the best experience that I am expecting from them. And oh, speaking for travel, this reminds that I need to buy new QuickNameTags.com name plates and tags for my new luggage. I already have one before but since mom asked me to have her the luggage, I just give the luggage to her including the tags.
