Yes! There’s no spring season in the Philippines, but only spring clamps. This is the reason why I am envious to my blogger friends living in countries where they could experience the four different seasons.
Spring is said to be the transition between winter and summer. Hence the time when flowers bloom at its most beauteous aura as evident from the above image which I took from Wikipedia.
Yes! How I wish to experience spring season, though I know that would be very impossible to happen in the Philippines, but at least experiencing it in other countries would be enough for me.
Turkey is a fascinating destination that blends a fascinating Eastern culture with all the modern flair and conveniences of the West. Here you’ll find contrasts at every turn with a heady mix of ancient ruins and historic architecture nestled amongst chic wine bars, waterside cafes and bustling markets. Whether you want a cheap last-minute getaway, a week in the sun or a lavish retreat with all the trimmings, Turkey has got something for everyone.
Located in the Aegean region on the South Western coast, bustling Bodrum is a buzzing resort town that’s a hit with holidaymakers looking for something that little bit different. Beach enthusiasts will love package holidays in Bodrum which are based around a beautiful sandy bay, providing plenty of long sunny days at the water’s edge – perfect for everyone from young families and older relatives to loved-up couples.
But Bodrum isn’t all about the beach. Here you’ve got a vibrant cosmopolitan town with an attractive marina flanked by stylish shops and boutiques, chic cafes and swish wine bars. Peppered throughout the town are Turkey’s characteristic restaurants serving up such delights as freshly caught fish, mezes and delicious spiced dishes, perfect for an evening night out before hitting the many bars and clubs in Bodrum – or for something a little quieter you can wander along the shore and enjoy a refreshing cocktail at sundown.
You’ll find a huge variety of holidays to Turkey and Bodrum on offer through major tour operators such as Thomas Cook, which offer a variety of package holidays to this sunny part of the world to suit all tastes and budgets. Whether you’re after basic self-catering accommodation close to the bustling resort centre, an all-inclusive deal or perhaps a rural retreat for some serious rest and relaxation, you’ll find plenty of choice which is bound to offer just what you’re looking for.
Smeg is an Italian domestic appliance company that started in Italy. But they didn’t stay there. Like any brand worth its weight in brilliance they branched out and you can now see them in all corners of the world. This is particularly true of their amazing FAB range. A selection of 1950s influenced designs that look great and bring a real sense of style to the home.
Bright, vibrant colors such as cherry red and powder blue can be found adorning Smeg FAB fridge freezers and dishwashers. They look very cool and retro, kind of like something you might find in a classic American-style diner.
What’s amazing is just how much the world has taken these appliances to heart. You can find them on almost any continent (I’m not sure Antarctica has got these yet!), and in so many different countries. Taking a look this Smeg 50’s style map you can see that people have taken pictures of their Smeg and just where it’s located in the world.
For example, don’t be surprised to visit Bejing, China and see a FAB fridge from place to place. Or traveling through Europe you might chance across a FAB in a trendy Parisian nightclub or Belgium cooking studio. A New York apartment might wow you with its great taste in kitchen appliance design as a glossy black Smeg fridge enhances a super stylish decor.
We have always had an affinity for our past. It seems nostalgia and modernity can exist side by side, and this is clear when you see the FAB range. A classic look for the contemporary world.
Are you planning for a road trip this coming summer vacation? Well, you should take these ideas of what to bring on road trip.
- First Aid Kits. These are the most important thing to bring and shouldn’t be missed. Make sure to include medicines for burns, allergies, dehydration and digestive problems.
- Maps and other Travel Guides. This is very important for first time trippers and travelers to a certain place.
- iPod or any Musical Gadgets. These will make your road trips boredom-free. For many road trippers and backpackers, they consider bringing with them guitars or any musical handy instruments. Why not try having with you a Selmer Paris Clarinets?
- Cameras. Especially for travel bloggers, this is one the most important stuff to bring. Should you carry with you a tripod, shutter and remote, extra battery packs, extra memory card, outdoor cases of your cameras.
- Food and Bottled Water. Handy foods are the highly recommended foods to bring on a road trips. Bottled water, but not in plastic containers, are very important also to prevent dehydration.
- Personal stuff like sun protection lotion, sun glasses, toothbrush, etc.
