It’s been years since I haven’t attended and witnessed the Kadayawan Festival in Davao City. Though I miss the said one of the biggest events in the country, I still feel somehow saddened when I heard a news saying that the Kadayawan Festival may not be pushed through this year due to some bombing and other threats in Mindanao which can even harm the people in Davao and the tourists as well.

But since Davao officials had already announced to the public that the Kadayawan Festival will be pushed through then, I am somehow excited to witness even just from the television all the exciting events to be done. And hopefully, the said event will be peaceful and much even successful then.

Indak indak sa kadalanan is one of the highlight events I wanted to witness this coming August 17, 2013 at around 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM around Davao City. It is actually a street dancing competition which is usually participated not just by the people from Davao City, but also those coming from other parts of the country.
