In 2016, in place of the popular Kazan ski resort complex, which was also known as Sviyaga (after the river on the right bank of which it is located), the all-season resort town Sviyazhskie Hills opened its doors. However, many people still know the complex under the name of Sviyazhskiye Hills Kazan.
Complex “Sviyazhskie hills” is located 35 km from Kazan in the village of Savino.
The complex underwent a major reorganization and renovation. The result was the emergence of a full-fledged year-round resort town. If previously tourists came here only in winter, for skiing fun and active winter holidays, now it is a universal resort that can be visited at any time of year. There is a golf club for 9 holes, several outdoor and indoor pools, a bowling club. In addition, there is a beach, numerous cafes, hotels and alpine houses for rent. In addition, there are 5 banquet halls for events from 100 to 800 people in the resort town. They are perfect for banqueting of any format.
The resort complex is very popular among residents of the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as residents of nearby cities. However, many tourists come here and from other regions of Russia, for example, from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
“Sviyazhskie Hills is currently one of the largest resort complexes of the middle belt of the Russian Federation. And also here sometimes full-fledged sport competitions in mountain skiing and snowboarding are held.
Winter season starts in these areas in late November or early December and lasts until late March or early April. However, the weather is changeable and sometimes makes some adjustments.
Speaking about the Sviyazhskie Hills skiing resort, there are pistes of varying difficulty:
- Green (1044 m, a difference of 165 m) is suitable for beginners, it is on these slopes should train, as well as to ride those who are not confident in their abilities;
- The blue one (1023 m, 156 m drop) is perfect for those who already know how to ski and snowboard, but are not yet ready for dangerous tricks and complex trails;
- The two red slopes (130 m drop) may seem simple and short, but they are designed only for experienced skiers. Beginners have nothing to do here.
“Sviyazhskiye hills also have interesting snow tubing slopes. In addition, there is a training slope with rope tow elevator, a track for children and a large (and very popular) ice rink.
You can find various restaurants and cafes in the resort, and you can stay overnight at a good hotel or a cozy Alpine house.

In the ski resort “Sviyazhskie Hills” skied for two days as part of the ski trip “Polmoskovje – Ural”. On the ski resort there are three slopes with approximately the same gradient – blue-green, blue and red. The slopes are wide and well-groomed (you can ride a giant), with quite interesting.
Very glad that in our difficult times there are accessible places where you can relax mind and body! I am glad that there are investors willing to invest in sports and recreation! Invested a lot of money, tried to make everything nice and modern.
