Shipwreck Beach (Zakynthos, Greece)
1The best beach in Greece, Navagio Beach or Shipwreck beach, in Zakynthos has been in the top spot of every poll in recent years. It is also one of the most photographed beaches in the world.
The romantic name Shipwreck Beach and the bay surrounded by white limestone rocks, with the blue Ionian Sea, can make you wonder if it really exists. But it is real, and this beach could have been the location for the filming of the movie “The Beach” with Leo DiCaprio, as it is similar to the most famous Maya Bay beach within the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand.
- Tip : The great popularity of Shipwreck Beach makes it quite crowded. So come early in the morning to be alone on Navagyo Beach.
- The best hotel in Zakynthos close to Shipwreck Beach is Mabely Grand Hotel

Suluban Beach (Bali, Indonesia)
Second place in the ranking of the best beaches in the world is Suluban Beach. Bali, the mysterious island within Indonesia, has so many beaches. How to choose the best? Many people vote for Blue Point Beach (known in Indonesia as Suluban Beach ), calling it a true paradise.
Located 45 minutes from Kuta near the village of Uluwatu Pecatu beach, which is also sometimes called Uluwatu Beach, can be called a refuge from the crowd. It has snow-white sand and the beach itself is enclosed by rocks and a reef from the strong waves. The water at Blue Point beach is two colors: green, where the shallow, and blue in the deeper areas. Very close by is the famous Uluwatu temple.
We have not been to Bali yet, but we asked friends who live on the island and they confirm the information: Suluban beach is indeed the best beach in Bali.

Pra Nang Beach (Krabi, Thailand)
In third place in the ranking of the best beaches in the world is the famous beach of Thailand – Phra Nang Cave Beach, or the beach of the princess cave of Pra Nang. It is located on the Raleigh Peninsula in Krabi and is considered one of the best beaches in Thailand after the island of Phi Phi Phi. But unlike the island beaches, it is located on the mainland and is very popular among tourists.
On the beach is a sacred cave with phalluses, and near the sea rises a beautiful karst rock, for which the Andaman Sea in Thailand is famous. You can only get to Phra Nang Beach by boat from Ao Nang Beach, or come on foot from other beaches in Raleigh.

Beaches South Beach and Lammas Paru (Miami, USA)
In fifth place in the ranking of the best beaches in the world would be two beaches in Miami, located close to each other.
- South Beach in Miami falls into the category and the best beach for young travelers who like to party, hang out and have fun. In general, Miami Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the world.
- The calm Lummus Park Beach, in the middle of this hurricane of fun, is strikingly clean, calm and peaceful.
Miami’s Best Beach – Lummus Park Beach
We equally enjoyed walking among the Latin rhythms and numerous restaurants on Ocean Drive along South Beach and then hiding in the shade of palm trees on the promenade of Lummus Park. There, by the way, are also good playgrounds for vacationers with kids.
- Tip: It is best to stay in Miami Beach hotels across from Lammas Park. Here you can relax in peace and quiet, and if you want to walk, it is convenient to go to Ocean Drive. It’s just a couple of steps away.
- A good hotel on South Beach next to Lummus Park in an Art Deco building is Room Mate Waldorf Towers.

And the last surprise from me!
I will show you a picture of the beach in the most unusual and exotic place, the farthest corner of the world that I have visited so far. This is Anakena Beach on Easter Island.
The beach on Easter Island
When we flew to Easter Island, I never expected that this far from all continents and mysterious island would have a beach! However, we on Easter Island, not only explored the extraordinary culture that left behind the world famous statues, but also sunbathed on the beach and bathed in the Pacific Ocean!
Beaches on Easter Island, several and all different: some suitable for diving, some for swimming. But the beach of Anakena, of course, strikes the imagination most! Beautiful white sand, palm trees, a cove protecting the waves of the Pacific and a view of the icicles! Just fantastic!

Desert Beach in the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in Brazil is a beach in the middle of the desert and high dunes! It is far from the seas and oceans, but is replenished by rainwater every year. The best time to go is from May to September, and the worst time is February, when there is no water at all.

Best Beaches in the World – Top 20
There are thousands of incredibly beautiful beaches in the world and it is almost impossible to single out the best. Nevertheless, such ratings as the best beaches in the world are held constantly and on their basis we have created our list.
1. Mexico, Tulum.

2. Dominican Republic, Baja de las Aguilas
For those who think there is nothing but big all-inclusive resorts and beaches full of tourists along the entire coastline of the Dominican Republic, a visit to Baja de las Aguilas Beach will be a great surprise. This beach is located in the province of Pedernales. It has no infrastructure. It is deserted, wild and with clean warm sea. The place can only be reached by boat (only a few dollars) or by off-road vehicle (provided that the driver knows the area well), and thanks to this it remains quite untouched.
3. Hawaii, Maui, Kaihalulu
Kaihalulu Beach, also known as Red Sand Beach, is tucked away on the east side of the island of Maui. To reach this beautiful spot, you have to make a short journey past volcanic landscapes and pine trees. It’s hot and the road is rocky and slippery, but it all keeps the beach a secret and makes you appreciate it even more. This oasis of red sand is the result of the erosion of hills rich in iron. The blue sea, along with ferns and other bright green plants create a delightful landscape.
4. Indonesia, Gilli Trawagan Island
Gilli Trawagan is not the name of an American celebrity, but one of those little paradises left in the Indian Ocean (only three kilometers long) that has only been associated with tourism for a couple of decades. Anyway, the endless sandy beaches are its main focus. Half of the visitors here are divers, attracted by the island’s rich marine life. The rest are fans of the nightlife popular here.

Ile aux Cerfs is a small island off the coast of Mauritius, with beautiful beaches of pure pale sand and an opalescent ocean. 6. Thailand, Phi Phi Leh Island, Maya Bay
Maya Bay Beach on the island of Phi Phi Leh was chosen for the filming of the movie “The Beach” with Leonardo DiCaprio. There’s no need for scenery or 3D technology, the natural surroundings themselves make an unforgettable impression. Since DiCaprio’s visit, the reputation of this place has grown, but it is on our list precisely because of its beauty.
7. Sancho Bay, Fernando de Noronha, Brazil
For many, this is the best beach in all of Brazil, and it certainly deserves a similar title. The waters here are perfectly clear, and swimming is allowed as long as there is no damage to the coral. 12. Aitutaki Island, Cook Islands
Aitutaki is the second largest island of the archipelago that forms the Cook Islands in the South Pacific, between Hawaii and New Zealand. Gradually, Aitutaki is becoming the second tourist island in the archipelago after Rarotonga, the main island. This is due to its small population (about 2,000), making it seem deserted, but its amazing beaches and waters make snorkeling and diving an unforgettable experience.
13. Motu Tofari, Bora Bora
There are few places in the world like French Polynesia, with its exotic and tropical southern seas beaches. Motu Tofari is one of the coral islands surrounding the Bora Bora atoll that embodies an intimate, quiet and hidden atmosphere with a handful of bungalows literally towering above the lagoon water.

This national park, on the island of Cayo de Agua, offers an interesting beach with white sand and the water of the Caribbean Sea on both sides.

You can also see dolphins and whales in its surrounding turquoise waters. It’s the perfect place to get away from the big city and the surfers who fill most Australian beaches.
20. Greece, Milos Island, Sarakiniko
Welcome to the moonlit beach of Sarakiniko. This is its most famous nickname, related to the landscape that the wind and water have created out of the rocks. Sitting on these rocks you can enjoy the most contrasting electric blue color of the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
