Even if there is no desire to shop, the Dubai Mall can only be postponed because of the giant aquarium or the ice rink.

Desert Safari.

Most of the entertainment in Dubai is in the cities. This is what sets a desert safari apart from everything else. It is the only way to get up close and personal with the Arabian dunes. A safari will allow you to discover the forgotten traditions of the Arabs who live in the desert.

The high red dunes of the Lehbab Desert are the ideal place to walk in the dunes. A safari also takes place in the Margam Desert. The breathtaking ride lasts half an hour with several stops for sunset photos and a stop near the highest dunes to try sandboarding. Sandboarding is the desert version of skiing.

Before sundown, the desert ride winds down and the convoy moves to the Bedouin camp. The rest of the entertainment takes place in this traditionally decorated desert camp. There are opportunities to get henna tattoos, dress up in Emirati clothing, have your picture taken with a falcon and ride quad bikes.

Or you can just watch the fish from the sidelines. Walk past a mesmerizing wall of water with hundreds of fish swimming by. Fully immerse yourself in the wonders of marine life by walking through an underwater tunnel, walk with sharks and stingrays swimming centimeters away just behind the glass.

There is also an underwater zoo. It consists of three sections: Tropical Forest, Rocky Beach and the Living Ocean with three different environments (otters, giant catfish, penguins and even a crocodile). You can even get up close to some of the animals and pet some of them.

Dubai Garden Glow

A place where children can have fun and learn at the same time. This is what Dubai Garden Glow is all about. Each has its own atmosphere and purpose.

The Glow Park is the largest glow park in the world. Dubai Fountain

Everyone knows that the tallest building in the world is in Dubai. But that’s not all. Right under the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, in the middle of the Burj Lake, is the tallest fountain in the world – the Dubai Fountain. It is also the world’s largest musical fountain.

The fountain can shoot 83,000 liters of water to a height of more than 140 meters, almost as high as a 50-story building. It consists of five circles of different sizes and two arcs stretching 275 meters across the lake. At night, 6,600 lights and 25 color projectors give the fountain an impressive view. What attracts people is that the choreography is synchronized with the music.

Since it is located between the Dubai Mall and Souk Al Bahar, there are many great places to see the fountain. But if you want to get a closer look, you can get a pass and go to the promenade. There, people stand just 9 meters away from the soaring water, which means you can’t avoid getting wet.

If you want a whole new perspective, take an Abra ride around the lake. The ride takes you through the fountain during the performance.

Incredible Dubai

Legoland

This is another Dubai attraction. Although the park is designed for children ages 2 to 12, it is more suitable for children ages 4 to 9.

Legoland consists of many zones, including Factory, Miniland and four more themed parts: Imagination, Adventure, Lego City and Kingdoms. The lego making process is shown in Factory. Take a quick walk through this part and head to Miniland. A sight to behold are replicas of skyscrapers and subways in Dubai, built entirely from Lego blocks. Mock-ups of subway trains actually move on the rails. This may not be as interesting to kids as it is to you.

“Kingdoms” is for those who like adventure. The thrilling rides here are not designed for younger children, as they require a certain height to enter. Some rides are interactive, such as Marilyn’s flying car, an airplane-shaped carousel in which the rider can push a joystick and move the plane up and down as it spins.

The rides at Adventure will be fun for parents, too. The Underwater Adventure is a unique ride that takes you to the bottom of the pool and allows you to view fish and lego models through a glass window.

Kids who like to build with lego will love Imagination. They can create their own lego things. Finally, the turn for Lego City, here children can take an active part in city life: “Car School”, “Water Sports School”, “Police Headquarters” and “Rescue Academy”.
